My Diaper Dandy

So recently Katelyn has learned how to take her diaper off.  This hasn’t been a problem until today when I walked into her bedroom after nap time and this is what I saw.  I will say from now on pajamas are a MUST.

Summer Fun 2013

This summer was spent playing in the sun more than any other summer we have had up here in North Idaho.  This year I decided to get us a family pass to Silverwood and we have had the best time!  We went almost weekly and got great sun tans.  Kiersten learned how to go down the water slides and she had the best time, with her best friend and neighbor Hannah.  When we weren’t at Silverwood Kiersten was usually out playing with all the kids, Hannah included, in the neighborhood!

The St Joe–Our dream camping area!

This year we had the privilege of being able to camp down on the St Joe on some friends property.  We went down there a total of 4 times this summer and fell in love each time! If I had the extra money I would buy a river lot right now just to have it for our kids to grow up on over the years!  We made great memories just in the few times we were able to go down there this summer and hope that it can be a part of our future someday!

Kiersten truly is a water baby and she loves spending the whole time in the water.  The first weekend we went down there I think she seriously was out of the water for just a few hours of the time she was awake.  She took up kayaking and loved it.  She was given literally a 3 min instruction on how to oar, and she was getting herself up and down the section of river we were on!

Dirty Dash ~ 2013 A new annual event!

I convinced George to do the Dirty Dash with us!  He had the best time in the world and now it seems he’s already putting together a team for next year! haha

Camping July 4, 2013

For many years we have been saying that we wanted to go to the Potlatch are camping with Brett and Tami!  We finally were able to set a weekend aside to go down there and we had a great time!  Wish we would have done it more this summer.  Next summer I’m hoping to not be working every other weekend and be able to get down there more often. The area was beautiful, and it was great to see where my husband grew up!
