We try to go to the big horn show every year and the best part is the fishing for the kids. Not my favorite part by any means, but most of the kids love it!! Katelyn cracks me up... she wouldn't have anything to do with fishing or touching the fish! But she did get a squirt gun toy from one of the booths and has been tormenting her sister with it!

Spokane Shock
Every year or so we get the privilege of going to a Spokane Shock game
paid for by George's work! It a good adult time away from the kids! This year George fed me Mike's hard lemonades. Little did I know they were "Harder" lemonades. That would explain this picture. Two and that was all I needed to be a little in the clouds!

Nascar in Vegas
We went to Vegas for NASCAR and it was a blast. Unfortunately my computer crashed and I lost most of the pictures I had from Vegas. Here are a few that I saved from my Facebook account.
Vegas really was a great time. We went with Bryan and Erin and then met Kirk and his crew down there. Kirk really spoiled us and we watched the race from box seats above the race and we got to go down on the track and take pictures (to bad I lost them all)!
It was a lot of fun, plus Brad Keselowski won. Which means I was a happy girl!! Very disappointed that all my pictures are gone and I don't have any of George and I together on the track. It was so much fun!

New job... new craft project.
I applied for a new job not long ago in our Informatics department at Kootenai. As you all know I love computers and love techy stuff, So I think this is going to be a great fit and i'm looking forward to the change and to working with some great people. With this change means that I get to decorate my own cubical... what to do. Well, i've been wanting to make these rustic painted mason jars for along time and now I have something to use them for... they are going on my desk as pen holders!! Love them and can't wait to start my new job!

Losing my MIND and my KEYS.
So, I don't know about all of you but I believe the idea of pregnancy brain and that it extends well past being pregnant. I believe that when you have children, the moment they are born, they steal part of your brain also. My husband would agree that I can't remember the littlest of things, for example setting the table and not getting out...whats the word.... oh ya, utensils (see I also forget the names of the most common items). So when on this fine day in January my keys went missing, I didn't think much of it, just figured it was my me losing my brains. Until Kiersten informed me that Katelyn had had them. WHAT, oh no they could be anywhere. Luckily, I didn't have to travel anywhere on this day, however, I did need to find my keys. I cleaned the whole house, went through the garbage that was still in the house, cleaned the kid's rooms, and still NO KEYS. Just when I was about to give up... I found them. I'm sure she was thinking this is exactly where they go!!

Gymnastic Mini Olympics
Kiersten has been enjoying Gymnastics for about 6 months or so and we had a Saturday mini Olympics. She had a great time although she is still very shy when she is doing the beam. You can tell she is nervous in front of people because she does fabulous when I take her at her practices.

The first real Shovel of Snow for the season...
Not enough worth running the snow blower... But enough to get a good shoveling workout! My first real snow shovel of the season! I love taking in the peaceful time of shoveling... yes I think it's peaceful... reminds me of my childhood snowboarding out in the powder! Yes I dream of days gone by!!
