Woke up this morning and the kids were surprised to find out that they were ont he middle list this year. They weren't rotten enough to be on the bad list but they definately didn't make the good list. The middle list kids, they only get their stockings filled but no big gift from santa. Regardless of the kids being on the middle list... we had a great christmas.

Christmas Eve - 2015
We spent a little time in the snow before heading to Bryan and Erins for christmas eve this year. We sure are super fortunate to have such great friends. Its hard when you don't have any blood family where you live and they are hours away. I'm just thankful we have grown to have our own friends that are like family up here in North Idaho. We had a great dinner and then the kids got to open their one christmas eve gift... PJ's.

Bitter sweet - Christmas 2015
As we set up the tree this year lots of memories flood my mind and my brain, and my eyes flood with tears. This year christmas is very bitter sweet as we are placing our house on the market and we realize this year will be our last christmas on Nellie Ct. We have spent 10 years in this house and it doesn't seem possible that we are ready to move although we are growing to big for our first home. I know that the future looks bright as we have great plans to build our forever home in 2016.

Katelyn the Cleaner
She takes after my mom. She informed me while we are getting ready to sell our home that the fridge was not clean enough.

First look... into our future
We had the chance today to go up and see a piece of property that may be ours in the future. Cameron, one of George's best friends who works for Timbered Ridge told us about a piece of property they just purchased and will be subdividing in the coming year. We want a little bit a land but not so much that we can't maintain, 5 acres would be ideal. Here they are subdividing anywhere from 4 to 10 acre parcel's. It's kind of cool as we got to come up here before any construction is taking place so if we do purchase, we will have seen it go from one big mountain to the housing complex.
This is looking straight up the hill towards our future property hopefully. Our driveway would go up this hill somewhere. And our house would sit at the top.
This is looking down the mountain towards high Prairie Road.
Standing on the top of the property looking south.
