Okay So Kiersten had her 6 month appointment yesterday. I thought that she was tall, because she is fitting into a lot of her 9 month clothes and I had to buy her 9 month pj's. Anyhow evidently clothing companies do not know how big a 6 month old is. And it takes 4 medical professionals to measure my child...4 different times, and they all came up with the same conclusion, 26 inches. I guess they couldn't really believe it because she was at 90 percentile in height last appointment and she is only at 52% now. So she is 52% in height, 70% in weight, and 80% head circumference.
The doctor is a little concerned because the muscles of her neck on the left side don't appear as strong as those on the right so she tends to tip her head to the left a lot. (which when she was really little she would never turn her head to the left). So her doctor referred us to an eye doctor to make sure she is seeing okay and doesn't have anything going on behind her eyes (evidently some kids tip there head if they can only see good out of one eye, to compensate). She has that appointment August 4th. then we have to schedule an appointment with a physical therapist to help show us ways to stretch or strengthen those muscles. I'm going to see what the eye doctor says first before I schedule the appointment with the physical therapist. So I will update everyone then. But for now here is a couple more picture!!
