The Rollover - Yep crashed my husbands new pickup!

Yes, you are seeing a brand new 2008 dodge ram that I crashed.  I have to say it was in slow motion when it all happened.  Kiersten and I were headed back from her 1 year well child checkup.  We were headed home on the freeway and it began freezing rain.  I just started up an incline was going approximately 35 miles and hour and lost control.  We fishtailed back and forth about 4 times and ended up going off the road in the median between the East and West bound lanes.  I truly felt like I was going to come to a stop, but that isn't what happened.  I was traveling sideways in the median area and my back right tire hit a ditch, which flung the pickup into a roll.  Yes I completely rolled it with my 1 year old inside.  I have to say after the safety of Kiersten and I, I was in shock that I just rolled George's brand new pickup.  As soon as we landed back on the wheels, I looked up out my drivers side window which was gone to a guy standing their asking me if I was okay.  My response was  "Yes, but I just rolled my husbands new pickup."  He nicely replied and said, "It will be okay!"

Birthday...

We had a wonderful time down south for Kiersten's birthday!!  She was a little leery of digging into her cake and she wasn't really interested in opening presents...but it was great to see everyone!

Birthday time....

One year has passed and we are still in awwww.  I finally got Kiersten's invites out today!  So hopefully everyone will get them in time.  The big birthday is next weekend.  We are having it in Horseshoe bend and we are so excited.
We were asked what the theme was going to be and I have decided I'm not doing a theme.  We are getting a sheet cake from costco and Kiersten will have her own mini cake that I will make for her.
So another thing that has come up... is that I think Kiersten's first REAL word is "Hi"  She picks up our cell phones puts it to her ear and says "Hi" .  I find this very funny because I had a dream prior to Kiersten even being born that we were having a baby girl with dishwater blond hair,  and she came out and said "Hi".  Kinda strange that I had that dream and her first word that she really understands what it means...is really Hi.  Kinda crazy!

Earflap hat...

So I have learned how to make earflap hats and I'm very excited that I will not have to pay a ton of money for them when I can make them myself!!
