Kindergarten Haircut

We had been talking about getting Kiersten’s hair cut for a while however she always stated that she just wanted to let her hair grow to be as long as Rapunzel's.  However, with the new school year starting, I told her we should at least trim it and maybe we could look at other cuts! She looked at a book and she chose to chop her hair OFF.  The best part is the way home she kept looking at herself in the rearview mirror and said, “Mom, I just love my new do!”

Oh the Pity ~ The blanket needs washed!

Katelyn has a polka dot blanket that is her all time favorite.  Like most Mothers I have to try to sneak it into the wash once in a while because she won’t just let me wash it!  Well here was poor timing on my part and Katelyn walked into the wash room, and happened to see her blanket behind the clear door of the washing machine.  I got it into the washing machine without her noticing, however I’m not sure what made her look in after it was already running.  Regardless… she was devastated!!

She just can’t wait… to wear her school clothes!

We went school clothes shopping and Kiersten just couldn’t wait to wear her clothes.  She wore her new backpack as soon as we got home from the store and she loves hoodies…just like her momma.  George always makes fun of me because I love to wear my hoodies…with the hood ON!  I guess she takes after me!
